I can’t believe nearly 3 months is over with since we came back from New Zealand. We leave for Fiji now in about 3 weeks! WOW!
Not much is happening really, just living life. Stressing over money for each of these trips and pay bills and it’s hard because I can’t work. I can’t contribute and I feel bad. Lyn knows it’s not my fault but it’s the sacrafices we have to make. We do take small little day trips here and there to break up the monotony of things. Just a couple weeks ago we took a day trip to Mamu. There is a new Canopy Rainforest Walk there. Not worth the $20 entry fee but nice all the same.
Anyway, our flights are booked. Taking 1 flight to Brisbane, then Brisbane to Nadi (Fiji), staying 4 days, then back again. We got an all inclusive mega deal! The nice thing is that the place we’re staying at is gay/lesbian friendly. That’s always nice! Our package includes all meals, 3 tours, $100 worth of drinks and the roundtrip flights (except for the Cairns to Brisbane portion). So it pretty much cost us the same as our New Zealand trip.
Lyn and I decided to go buy some bathing suits (or costumes as Aussie’s call it). We both bought one-pieces and wore them this past Sunday. It was father’s day for Aussies so we spent the day at the lake. It was overcast, not much sun but certainly enough to burn our backs! OMG the pain! Well, at least we’ll be set for Fiji! LOL!!
I’m thinking about posting pictures of our trips as additional pages. So have a look for those if you’re curious. And I’m going to try and keep this blog updated. Not like anyone really cares but…. I do!

Ok… here I am safe and sound in Australia. I took 3 plane rides to get here. Each plane varied in size and length of trip.
Flight #1: Vegas to L.A. Embrae rj140 Sat in 5C near window on the right side of the plane. Flight Time – 2:50 pm – 4:00 pm
I showed the FoF letter to the boarding lady and she said “oh aren’t you so cute! Sure you can meet the pilot and see the cockpit”. So now it’s time to board and I’m walking through the tunnel. My nerves were rattling inside and I could feel tears starting to well up. The flight attendant pointed me left to the pilots cockpit area and both pilots started talking to me. (more…)

Just as I had intended, I got to Vegas WAY early! But I found a great viewing spot to watch planes take off and land. Caught a few on video but because of the damn security fence it was hard to get clear shots and well, I don’t exactly have the greatest video recording device. My digital camera doesn’t zoom in all that well.

Went to Oatman today… Oatman, Arizona. It’s about 40 mins from where I live and they were having some events today. The Oatman Bed Races, Parade and some other funny things. I went by myself but it wasn’t so bad. Really wished Lyn was with me, I would’ve enjoyed it much better. Anyway… here’s a few videos. Enjoy!
